What’s the Potters house collective about?

About The Potter’s House Collective

At The Potter’s House Collective, we believe that a home should be more than beautiful—it should tell a story.

Rooted in faith and inspired by the hands of the Creator, our brand was founded on the belief that every life, every home, and every season is being shaped with purpose. Just as a potter carefully molds clay, Jesus lovingly forms us through every triumph, trial, and transformation. We are His workmanship, created intentionally and beautifully for His glory.

The Potter’s House Collective was born from a love for timeless interiors, meaningful design, and the desire to create homes that feel peaceful, welcoming, and deeply lived in. We are inspired by the beauty found in God’s creation—the texture of natural linen, the warmth of aged wood, the elegance of marble, the softness of earth tones, and the imperfect beauty of handcrafted pieces.

Our aesthetic blends organic modern design with timeless craftsmanship, creating spaces that feel both elevated and approachable. We believe the most beautiful homes are not built on trends, but on thoughtful layers of texture, natural materials, collected pieces, and meaningful details that tell the story of the people who live there.

At the heart of everything we create is a desire to help people cultivate homes that feel grounded, intentional, and full of life.

Because a home is where prayers are prayed.

Where families gather.

Where children grow.

Where healing happens.

Where hospitality is extended.

And where the presence of Jesus is welcomed into the everyday moments.

Our Philosophy

We are drawn to interiors that feel:

  • Organic and timeless

  • Warm and welcoming

  • Rooted in natural materials

  • Rich in texture and character

  • Refined without feeling formal

  • Inspired by nature and craftsmanship

  • Designed to be lived in and loved

Through carefully curated collections, artisan-inspired textiles, styling services, and thoughtfully selected décor, we help create homes that feel layered, soulful, and enduring.

Our Faith

Jesus Christ is the foundation of The Potter’s House Collective.

Our name serves as a reminder that we belong to Him—the Potter—and that our lives are continually being shaped by His hands. We believe beauty reflects the nature of God, and that creating peaceful, welcoming homes is one way we can steward the gifts He has given us.

Our prayer is that every product, every room, and every home we touch would point back to the goodness, creativity, and faithfulness of Jesus.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Jaela Donaldson

The Potter’s House Collective was born from two passions that have always lived side by side in my heart: my love for Jesus and my love for beautiful homes.

I was 9 years old creating dollhouses from scratch out of cardboard boxes and scrap fabric from my sewing projects. Many kids loved cartoons and children movies, but I found enjoyment in HGTV and extreme home makeovers.

I’ve always been drawn to spaces that feel warm, collected, and full of meaning—homes layered with natural textures, organic elements, timeless design, and pieces that tell a story. But more than that, I’ve always believed that our homes should reflect the peace, beauty, and intentionality of the One who created us.

My hope is that through every collection and every space we help create, you’ll find inspiration to build a home that not only looks beautiful, but feels like a sanctuary—one that reflects your story and ultimately glorifies Him.

With gratitude,

Jaela Donaldson
